The newsletter stays useful for free readers. Paid support is a way to back the work and help create room for no-fee or reduced-fee reviews.
Still Fighting is Millie's public story and newsletter. Paper Armour is the practical service for families who need help with forms, letters, evidence and systems.
Paid support helps create a small support fund that occasionally allows Paper Armour to offer reduced-fee or no-fee Initial Support Reviews when circumstances allow.
The free version of Still Fighting should still feel worth reading. Paid support is about helping the work continue and creating a small support pot for parents who could not otherwise afford Paper Armour's help.
The newsletter stays useful for free readers. Paid support is a way to back the work and help create room for no-fee or reduced-fee reviews.
If you can afford to help another parent, Paper Armour can record that support and use it towards an Initial Support Review when circumstances allow.
Some people need reassurance they're not alone. Some need an answer. Some need practical help. Point them in the right direction.
This creates a £35.00 pay-it-forward checkout through Stripe. Millie can then use that support towards a no-fee or reduced-fee review when circumstances allow.

I want to be clear about what support can and can't do.
Paper Armour can help make paperwork clearer, stronger and less overwhelming. It can help you understand your options, organise information and feel less alone when you're facing a system that seems designed to confuse people.
What it can't do is guarantee decisions, tribunal outcomes or what another organisation will choose to do.
Still Fighting exists because I believe useful information should be available whether someone can afford to pay or not. The free newsletter will always contain the same stories, insights, lessons and lived experience that inspired it in the first place.
Some readers choose to support that work financially. Their support helps keep the newsletter going and occasionally allows me to reduce or waive the cost of an Initial Support Review for another family when circumstances allow.
Paper Armour didn't begin as a business idea.
It began the same way it does for many families: trying to help the people we love navigate systems that often feel confusing, exhausting and impossible to challenge.
Over the years, our family has dealt with assessments, reviews, evidence gathering, meetings, appeals, deadlines and more forms than I could ever count.
Along the way, I learned something important.
Most families don't struggle because they aren't capable.
They struggle because nobody hands them a map.
Paper Armour exists because I wanted to become the guide I wish more of us had been given.
Practical help with forms, letters, evidence and paperwork.
The public side of the journey: stories, lessons, frustrations, victories and the reality of life caring for and advocating for the people we love.
The longer horizon: our family's attempt to build a future where support doesn't disappear, but gradually becomes independence, confidence and freedom.

For years, our lives have revolved around appointments, crises and making sure everyone else was okay first.
Explore Moor follows our family's attempt to build something beyond survival.
Not to walk away from the people we love.
Not to stop supporting them.
But to help them grow in confidence and independence while we slowly rediscover a little freedom of our own.
It's about family, resilience, hope and creating a future where support becomes empowerment rather than dependence.
The canals and boats are part of that story.
They were never the whole story.

The goal was to make sure they wouldn't always need us for everything.”
